we have the Nexen Roadian ATX and the older AT Pro RA8, and both of those are excellent all-weather tires and handle rain and snow with no issues.
Excellent all weather tires... A generation newer than the CC2... More balanced overall, so although not quite as good in the snow, the suffer less from road noise and loss of fuel economy.
I had a set of Nexen on a 2011 Honda Civic I had many, many, years ago. They were cheap, but still very good tires.
my tesla.. never have had any issues and ive had it for 3 years. I replaced the tires once.. thats it
For the 2023 MYP I have, I mean… No real maintenance aside from the tires and windshield wiper fluids.
Haven’t had to change brakes or battery so far. No major rattles.
We have ran the Nexen Winspike and Nexen Winguard series winter tires on a few vehicles in Dakota winters, which can be extremely harsh... Saying they are "comparable quality" to Hakka's is a stretch... but they are decent winter tires and Nexen has one of the best warranties in the tire industry.
SU1 is not the top of the tires for performance cars... they get hard and noisy with time.
This car can’t hold a REAR alignment and eats tires.
only issue i have is the car eats tires, 10-12k miles a set currently
My car has a bad tramlining habit when driving on those grooved concrete highways that are common throughout Northern California. It basically feels like the back of the car is swerving back and forth erratically even though the other all track remains consistent. It’s really only on concrete highways that have the long grooves parallel to the road. I’m wondering if this is a characteristic of these particular tires or more of an alignment issue or if it’s an overall ev6 thing. I’d actually consider replacing the tires before they’re worn out because I’m so sick of the behavior, but I don’t want to find myself dealing with the same issue on new, different tires. This is with the 19 inch wheels with the Nexen Nfera OEM tires.
