Tires Nexen or OEM Chevrolet

Nexen Tires

FWIW, I have the Nexen AT Pro RA8 on my truck because my size for the Cooper's was backordered at the time and after 2 years I don't regret my purchase at all and will likely get Nexen truck tires again

Pros: don't regret purchase

Nexen Tires

Very few manufacturers have a solid warranty that is actually usable in this regard, however one of the best warranties in the industry is from Nexen.

Pros: best warranties in industry

Nexen Tires

They were absolutely excellent rear tires for a RWD with a lot of power in a snowy climate with a jumpy driver. Zero issues with slippage, balance, wear pattern, etc. since installed in December. 10k miles later and I found them flat with a hole in my parking lot at work, and a plug would not hold, big bummer.

Pros: zero issues with slippage
Cons: found flat with hole
Mileage: 10000 km

Hankook v12 are OK but are very low grip, and Nexen are GREAT for smoke but also start to shred in 10 mins.

Pros: Nexen great for smoke
Cons: Nexen start to shred

Nexen Tires

I started sliding sideways when taking off from the lights in the rain. The very next opportunity I had Pilot Sport 4 on and never looked back.

Pros: better grip
Cons: sliding sideways
