Tires Nexen or Goodyear

Had the old WR on my 2012 Accord until i traded it in a few years ago. They drove pretty smooth in all conditions, even in the snow. The snow performance isn't as good as actual winter tires, but since I live in the mid-atlantic and getting feet of snow here is rare, they were good enough.

last Black Friday, I was able to score Goodyear Reliant tires from Walmart for $85 each for my 2017 Volkswagen Tiguan.

I wish I could buy my Goodyear Wrangler Trailmark AT tires again from Walmart. I bought a set in 2019. I am just about to replace them. Did great all year in snow and rain. Currently, at 70k miles on them.

Goodyear is definitely not as good as they used to be. Their tires are on the lower end side now and their prices reflect that.

The nexen tires DO suck.

I just replaced a 3rd brand new set of reliants. They were horrible in my experience. They ALL dry rotted. Those 3 sets were purchased within 4 years.
