Tires Nexen or Falken

Nexen Tires

Get Roadstones which are made by Nexen. I use them on a remapped (300bhp) 3 litre diesel BMW and they are great in both the dry and the wet.

Pros: great in dry and wet
Vehicle: BMW

Nexen Tires

I had *Continental MaxContact 5* 2015 that lasted me 2016-2019. In 2020, I moved over to *Nexen N’fera AU7* (2019) on an extremely good deal. I’ll have you know, i’ve put down 90k highway kilometers on this rubber and it still drives great.

Pros: drives great, good deal
Mileage: 90000 km

Falken Tires

I recently had a great experience with the Falken RT615K+ going from HPDE 2 to Time Trials. I had 275/35R18's square on my 350z and they lasted me about 11 track days including driving to and from the track a few times. I don't have any personal experience with other 200tw tires but I was satisfied with mine.

Pros: long lasting, satisfied experience
Vehicle: Nissan

Falken Tires

I like Falken a lot. Mine didn’t come with Falken but got some Wildpeaks installed after getting our first flat. Got all 4 wheels replaced a little over a year ago and have had zero issues.

Pros: zero issues
Mileage: 20000 km

If you’re not mudding and want to improve the ride then the Falkens with their mileage warranty is the best bang for the buck.

The EVOLUTION line from Cooper is their “cheap” line, recently bought by Goodyear. Have not been a fan of quality since the buyout

Pros: best bang for buck
Cons: quality since buyout

I've been looking at the Toyo NanoEnergy3 for about £200 fitted, but also saw I could get the Falken SN832 for around £240 fitted.

Pros: good for town driving
Cons: more expensive

My falken wild peaks are quiet, just as grippy off road, way better on road, and can handle rain and snow like it’s nothing. I would never ever go back to a KO2 after getting my wild peaks.

Pros: quiet, grippy off-road, better on-road, handles rain/snow well

I've sold a ton of Nexen tires and used them on all my loaner cars. I never buy the N5000's though. I stick to the Classe Premier line so CP641 and CP672 tires. I use them on my mother in law's Jetta and I have the Nexen Rodian HP on my Wife's MB R350. Decent tires. Not the best but for the price, they work very well.

Pros: decent for price, work very well
Cons: not the best

AT3W 100%. My 2016 4x4 Tacoma actually came with new KO2s from the dealer and they were the biggest POS tire ever. Terrible. I would slip in rain all the time it nearly caused a few wrecks. Off-road it was just ok. Meanwhile the falkens felt amazing both on road or off-road , rain or dirt. With a 55k warranty. Best tires I’ve ever owned.

Pros: amazing on/off road, good warranty
Cons: terrible in rain
