Tires Nexen or BRIDGESTONE

I've been really happy with the Potenza RE980AS+ on my 2002 New Beetle Sport. The Tire Rack performance numbers are very good across the board.

I used Nexen for my Saga a few years back. Probably the best value for money.

Am ales Bridgestone pt performanța pe uscat și ud, dar cel mai balansat este SF3. Bridgestone e pe un Suzuki Swift 4x4, Hankook a fost pe Sandero Stepway.

Man nu știu dacă sunt mid level dar eu folosesc Bridgestone blizzak de mulți ani pe două mașini. Sunt fantastice.

Ciao tutti, riprendo questo mio thread perché dopo un paio di giorni di ricerca avrei adocchiato le Nexen N'Fera SU4 XL che pare abbiano un buon rapporto qualità-prezzo (le ho trovate a 57€ l'uno). Tyre-reviews ha delle ottime recensioni a riguardo.

Got a flat replaced with a neven tire and it barely wore at all after 15000 miles, replaced the other 3 when they wore out with nexen tires and they grip well. No problems at all.

They’re fine - I believe they’re made by nexen, and nexens are pretty solid mid tier tires. Not gonna wow you but definitely not dangerous like some of the cheap chinese junk out there.

I’m also experiencing the same poor tread life with the Weatherpeaks at 16,000 miles. I’m actually slipping on turns now and plan on using the warranty for a replacement. I don’t feel good about these tires.

Oh mate you have chosen a shit tyre, I had the BT23 and they were straight plastic in super cold weather :/ (took ages to get em to even get warm)

I had multiple spin ups/slides over white markings and straight up dodgy pavement in London, made me lose a lot of confidence in the wet
