Tires NANKANG or MRF

NANKANG Tires

Nangkang CRS best bang for value. Do one hard heat session, then let it fully cool down. Then it’ll last for much longer and have better drop off as you go on.

Pros: best value, lasts longer, better drop off

Rating 5.0

I had Bridgestone B250 165/80 R14 as stock on my Ritz 2011, those were very bad at braking performance, and didn\u2019t provide any kind of comfort at all, even the underbody touched a few speed breakers when the car was fully loaded. But then I switched to MRF ZLX 185/70 R14 tyres and those were in a league of their own, great braking, comfort and much less body roll.

Pros: great braking, comfort
Cons: bad braking performance
Vehicle: Suzuki

NANKANG Tires

Nankang NS2-R is best bang for buck track tyre hands down.

It’s marginally slower than most other semi-slicks, but it will last longer, it will be faster than any premium road tyre on track.

Pros: best bang for buck
Cons: marginally slower

NANKANG Tires

I am in my first set of NS2R tw180, all I can tell is that this tyre feels difficult to warm and easy to surpase optimal working window but, it's good for the value

Pros: good for the value
Cons: difficult to warm, easy to surpass optimal window

MRF Tires

Usually should have ideally clocked 40K. But MRF is like that. I changed mine only after 20K after side wall cut and moved to YOKOHAMA Geolander H/T.

Cons: side wall cut
Mileage: 20000 km

MRF Tires

My brezza came with MRF Ecotreds as well, I have already gotten 2 sidewall punctures in 28k kms. Had to scrap one tire entirely. So frustrating

Cons: multiple sidewall punctures, tire scrapped
Vehicle: Suzuki
Mileage: 28000 km

MRF Tires

I too had a similar experience with MRF ZVTV - it was attributed to external damage and wasn’t covered under warranty. Had to get the tyre replaced.

Cons: tire defect, warranty rejected

MRF Tires

My car completed 14.8k kms, and I noticed this bulge on the right rear tire. The tires are MRF Ecotred that came with the car. I didn't notice it anytime before so I don't know when did it show up.

Cons: tire bulge, quality issue
Vehicle: Volkswagen
Mileage: 14800 km
