why not try out the new michelin pilot sport all season 4. They are not as sporty as as3+ but the ride is much much better. For the sporty asaspect if as3+ is a 10/10 then as4 is 9.3/10. I just put them on it feels good driving it.

Pros: ride is much better
Cons: not as sporty as as3+

I replaced the second set of Firestones on my Jeep Grand Cherokee with these Michelin's and the road noise diminished greatly. They were great in our northern Indiana snow this winter. My driving is 75% highway, no off-road, but we do get snow and ice. I'm pleased with them.

Pros: diminished road noise, great in snow

Michelin Pilot Sport 4S

No other choice in my opinion. As a fellow spirited driver with a V8, tyres are the most important thing and these are reasonably priced and super safe for high speeds.

Pros: reasonably priced, super safe
Vehicle: BMW

I would say stick with Michelin’s. Best combination of grip, comfort, road noise and tread wear. Based on experience Pirellis and Contis tend to wear out faster (P Zeros), Bridgestone is so so.

Pros: grip, comfort, tread wear
Cons: wear out faster

I bought the avid ascend gt tires about 2 weeks ago. Quiet and smooth ride so far. Comparable to my previous Michelin tires.

YOKOHAMA Tires

They faired well, especially uphill. Trusted mechanic buddy said Blizzaks were the way to go, but these Yokohamas made me feel in control and handle well on the clear days

Pros: feel in control, handle well
Vehicle: Volkswagen
Mileage: 4000 km

MICHELIN Tires

I did 215/45/18 xice3 on OE wheel for more sidewall, If I did it again I would do stock size 2254018. I lost a little bit of responsiveness/ punch from the 1/2\" taller overall diameter and also some curb protection from the 1/2\" narrower tire.

Pros: more sidewall
Cons: lost responsiveness/punch
