My new 2024 Tiguan SEL had a vibration. The Pirelli tires on it would not come into spec on the road force balance machine. I put on Michelins and no more vibration.

Pros: no more vibration
Cons: would not come into spec

I also replaced my stock Yokohama tires on my OBW with the new wildpeaks AT4w for stronger sidewall and been quite happy with its offroad performance.

Michelin CC2 is a great long lasting tire that is great in just about every condition except very deep snow. It was a big upgrade from the General RT43's we had previously had on our '13 OB. We have General 365AW on our '23 which are not quite as good in the rain, but are a lot cheaper.

Pros: great long lasting tire
Cons: not good in deep snow

I just got the YK-CTX 225/55r19 on my ‘21 CX-5. Yokes is stiffer than the stock tires but happy with the less road noise, better grip and braking, and almost same MPG considering I’ve only driven them for 300+ miles.

Pros: less road noise, better grip
Cons: stiffer than stock
Vehicle: Mazda
Mileage: 482 km
Part number: YK-CTX 225/55R19

This is a common question in the sub and you’ll generally hear a lot of recommendations for newer all weather tires such as Michelin CrossClimate 2 or Bridgestone Weatherpeak (installed on mine). These are premium all weather on road tires that’ll do pretty well in light/moderate snow and very good touring performance.

Pros: very good touring performance

The E rated tire will ride ever so slightly harder, but the drastically increased life will make up for that.

Pros: increased tire life
Cons: harder ride
Mileage: 70000 km

Can't recommend Michelin CrossClimate 2's enough. Has been perfect in all weather for me including freezing cold, snow, wet, and summer temps. They are not noisy and wear well.

Pros: perfect in all weather
Cons: none

I knew the stock summer tires were terrible so for the first few months I drove the car balls to wall and made sure I wore off all the tread on all 4 tires before winter hit. Now i’m rocking the Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4’s !

Cons: terrible stock summer tires
