X-ice will last longer because of the tread construction and comes with a bit of a warranty. They handle phenomenally.
Michelin Defender 2 . They came with my car when I got it and opened my eyes to what a good new set of tires is like. They also last a really long time. Im shocked to still see alot of thread instead of shocked by seeing how fast the tread is wasting
X ice have been pretty good for Edmonton/Alberta winters. We used them for about 6 years.
I have also run X-Ice Snow when they updated that tire. One thing to note about most winter tires, is that when they get wear down, the lower part of the tread is no longer considered a snow tire, but rather all seasons. X-Ice snow doesn't do this, the sipes go all the way down to the bottom. That kinda sold me on them when I had purchased them.
I've used X-ice for years. One of the best tires on the market for snow.
I drive a 2004 volvo XC70, that sees a lot of dirt, mud, back roads and sometimes even snow. Michelin cross climate 2s on that thing no matter what... Those tires are just plain amazing on anything all wheel drive that encounters a lot of sloppy shit.
Michelin Defenders best tire on the market don\u2019t care what anyone says
Put some michellins on and the problem went away
Great tyres, just don't put them on a high performance car. Or don't drive it like its designed too haha. The cords start to show even though there is still plenty tread. I had that in my RS5. But for normal driving, they are ace, and the tread lasts forever.
I have the Ps4s on my x5m and I’ve disliked them from day 1. Honestly can’t wait to put my winters back on so I don’t hear so much road noise.
