Tires MICHELIN or Pirelli

Pirelli Tires

I took my FWD hybrid through a lot of western Carolina roads during hurricane Helene on the stock scorpions and had no issues and never got stuck but saw a few jeeps get stuck on stuff I had no problem hopping over.

Pros: no issues, never stuck

I decided to preference lower road noise benefit of this Pirelli tire. I have a 2021 CX-5 SIG. Already a quite vehicle while driving but now even more so. The ride is so smooth. Discount Tire only needed to install balancing weights on one of the wheels. Speaks to the quality of these tires. I replaced the original Toyo A36, at 30K miles. I am very happy with my choice.

Pros: lower road noise, smooth ride, good quality
Vehicle: Mazda
Mileage: 30000 km

I ditched the run flats and switched to Michelin cross climate 2, and that improved the ride quality significantly over stock.

Factory tires wore fast. The scorpions couldn't last more than 20k for me. Bought a few sets but ended up getting the ltx platinum tires, which are crap compared to the scorpions but they wear like rocks. Tread is still going strong after 40k.

Pros: tread going strong after 40k
Cons: crap compared to scorpions
Mileage: 32000 km
