I had a set on my civic before I sold it and honestly they were great. I felt confident cornering with them and they very rarely chirped because they had such good grip!
Get the michelins. Best tire. Smooth, quiet, long lasting, great warrenty, great in rain & snow.
I went down a size to 17 inch and got the Michelin x ice snow. I believe these and the blizzak ws90 are the top rated so get whatever is the cheaper option or has stock.
I had x ice on my accord and they were solid with great tread life.
I had the road control 2 all seasons on my cx5 and was averaging 27-28 mpg. I put the defender 2 on, averaging 30-32 mpg now. Check it at the pump to compare with the computer and the vehicle was off 0.5 mpg.
We opted to buy the oem Michelin tires. Costco sells the oem tire at a good price. Figured no reason to change what isn’t broken
Anyone put crossclimates on theirs? I can't stand the way they look, but they're great tires by all accounts. And michelin gives you free roadside assistance when you buy a set, so I don't have to buy CAA (AAA down south).
I bought enkei 17s and Michelin x ice for winter. It was a lot easier to get tires and also doubles as a good rim for cheap track tires also if you want as 215 17s are pretty common
The Michelins have a somewhat well-known delamination problem. I got them too from Costco on a Michelin month, and they are definitely a marked improvement over the stock tires in all regards. They're grippier in the dry and wet and quieter.
My experience with the PS4S has not been very good. My PS4Ss blistered after two track weekends: Thunderhill West and Buttonwillow. They just don’t have the sidewall support you need as you speed up.
