If you run 17 inch, go for 215/45R17. Get the Michelin Pilot sport 4s or 5, Goodyear Eagle F1 Asym 6, or Conti Sportcontact 7/extremecontact (depends if you're in EU or US). Those are the best allround tires you can get. 215/45 offers a bit more contact and a bit more comfort

Pros: more contact, more comfort

I swapped my 22" Pirelli Scorpions with the 22" Michelin Defender MS/2 115H. The ride is much more supple, and they cost far less than the Scorpions, while the efficiency is nearly the same (within .14 kwh/mi).

Pros: more supple ride
Cons: efficiency nearly the same

Michelin Pilot Sport as4 or whatever the current version is. Darn near summer tire grip but with all the benefits of an All Season. And they still manage to have a tread life mileage guarantee.... I've been through many a set.

Pros: summer tire grip, all-season benefits

Michelin PS AS4 handle much better & can take light snow as well. Getting noise complaints on CC2 as they wear plus my Costco installer tells me they throw rocks.

Pros: handle much better
Cons: noise complaints as wear

I recently bought 17" wheels/tires from Tirerack (Michelins) and they feel great on my 2024 GTI Autobahn. I really don't like the stock 19" wheels.

Pros: feel great
Cons: don't like stock wheels
Vehicle: Volkswagen

I've got them on my CX-5 for about a year and a half now.

I've driven them in hot Cali Summers to Midwest winters. Have handled absolutely amazingly and are much quieter than the original tires.

Can't recommend them enough.

Pros: handled amazingly, much quieter

The Pilot Sport Cup 2's had great grip but are VERY expensive and had a strong tendency to tramline - do not reccommend for the street unless you track the car. The Pilot Sport 4s have better manners on the street in the OEM sizes (305/30R19 & 315/30R19) and are less expensive than the Cup 2's.

Pros: great grip
Cons: VERY expensive, tendency to tramline

Firestone Tires

I would recommend just outright avoiding Firestone. Aside from Firestone tires being garbage (except the Transforce line)

Cons: garbage tires
