I have Michelin PA3 now and used them last winter. Not problems at all, they are definitely great on snow, ice, AND tarmac. They feel very very close to the stock AS and don't eat too much fuel economy.

Pros: great on snow, ice
Cons: close to stock AS
Vehicle: Volkswagen

I went with Michelin Xice Xi2 on 16" elbrus alloys from Tirerack, and the good ol' bi-yearly self-o change-o. Comfortable, safe, quiet... no complaints

Pros: comfortable, safe, quiet

The wheels look absolutely great and they drive great, the driving feel with such a light wheel is amazing. One of the wheels wasn’t perfectly round and had a small hop to it... I put 1500 miles on them and the vibration never bugged me, even on a road trip to Chicago.

Pros: driving feel is amazing
Cons: slight vibration above 85
Vehicle: Mazda
Mileage: 2414 km

Got my tires yesterday and went and got them mounted this morning. Liking them so far, hardly any stretch. I'll have my coilovers in a couple weeks then to see how they are on the car. 165/55/14 Federals on 14x6 wheels

Pros: hardly any stretch

I recently replaced the stock tires with Michelin Primacy MXM4 and this thing is now QUIET. It's amazing how quiet it is even over rough surfaces and at highway speeds.

Pros: now QUIET, quiet over rough surfaces

It is an EXTREMELY common problem on Mk4's to show cupping on inside of rear tires even with everything at spec. After you rotate them, the \"good front\" tires on rear will then begin cupping also, and the noise problem will increase as they wear more... the rears will \"sing\" with the cupped fronts (formerly on rear) and you can get some pretty loud droning at low speeds, only becoming less noticable at high speeds.

Cons: cupping on inside, noise problem
