Most consistent tire when it comes to not being out of round and balancing with the least amount of weight - Michelin. Thus they always ride excellent right out of the box and all the way until they are wore out.
Michelin premieres perform great in the snow, about as good as winter tires (reviews on tirerack) Turned my prius into a beast in the snow (for a prius).
I purchased Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4, from Tirerack, my god they are better than the ExtremeContact DWS tires (which I used for 8-10 years).
The defenders are all I ever buy. They will rot before they loose tread lol.
I've used Michelin Defenders for years and have been very happy with them.
we've been using Dunlop for our vios.
Michelin tyres. They’re one of the most reassuring in wet road conditions. The car behaves predictably in heavy rain conditions with those tyres fitted.
I have cross climates on my truck and I can't believe how good they are. It's the first time I've ever been impressed with a tire
I'm currently running Michelin Premieres on my Jetta. They are great tires, especially in the wet, but don't get near the longevity that they claim. I've put TrueContacts on our old Forester, and was very happy with them. I've also had General Altimax HP's on the Jetta (same category tire), and was happy with those as well. Generals are a great budget tire. They were very quiet, and I'll echo the comment that they feel squirmy at first until all the casing oil gets out of them.
I personally don't like Michelin tires. The rubber just feels cheap.
