I got the Michelin Defenders (stock 17\"). Definitely feel better than the Pirelli Scorpion Verdes that came with the car IMO. Tig is quiet and smooth, handles potholes very well, even makes my dirt road seem very smooth and quiet. Rain puddles like they aren't even there. Snow like a champ. Drove in a monster snowstorm this past winter, cars were off the road left and right, plows just couldn't keep up with it... Tig was driving like a tank, non-issue. Summer driving has been fun too!

Pros: quiet, smooth, handles potholes well

Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires are generally highly regarded and will be pretty damn grippy, especially if you're used to cheap tires

Pros: highly regarded, pretty grippy

I highly recommend Michelin A/S 3+ all weathers. They are amazing, my only issue so far is that they’re a little loud (road noise in the summer), but they have incredible grip, and seem to hold out great given the crazy weather.

Pros: incredible grip, great hold
Cons: a little loud
Vehicle: Volkswagen
Mileage: 22000 km

There were long sections of I-90 especially through Washington that were loud as f***. I don’t know if it’s damage due to chains or what, but I had to endure hours of this nonsense. Maybe it was my tires? They are Michelin Pilot Super Sports in 235/40R18 inflated up to 39 psi for the extra load. They’re silent on most other roads though.

Pros: silent on most roads
Cons: loud on some roads
