In my experience, Michelin uses superior rubber, and we never had issues balancing their tires. They’re a tried-and-true brand known for consistent quality.

Pros: superior rubber, consistent quality

MICHELIN Tires

Just slapped some Michelin Pilot Sport AS 4’s and they are honestly not too bad. Got them about 3 weeks ago, been about 1,500 miles. I shall see how the outer edges fair on these!

Rain was heavy and wind was high in southern Indiana today. Really good grip on the rain, and good stopping distance as well. Had someone panic brake for a branch falling and the car slowed down faster than theirs did!

Pros: good grip on rain
Cons: see how edges fair
Mileage: 2414 km

Continental Tires

I have the Continental Extreme Contact DWS 06 Plus tires on my SHO and absolutely love them. So far I have not had any issues with the lighter snows we have had here in northern Virginia.

Pros: no issues with snow
Vehicle: Ford

Continental Premiumcontact 6 on my 2021 hybrid. Quite pricy but quiet and feel very safe and I had some emergency braking situations on a wet road. After 5k miles I'm still happy about this choice.

Pros: quiet, feel very safe
Cons: Quite pricy
Mileage: 5000 km

MICHELIN Tires

My original tires were cracked from being in the sun and not moving for a year or two, so the dealer replaced them with exactly the same tire and it went under the 12/12 warranty, so I need to go through those tires before I buy my own. Man, are they greasy in the wet!

Pros: self-sealing
Cons: greasy in the wet
