Tires MICHELIN or Continental

Continental Tires

I currently have Continental CrossContact XL 20 in. tires on my 2020 Buick Enclave. These are OEM tires that I was skeptical of since I usually prefer Michelin tires. These Continental tires are rated at 60K miles but currently have 63,000 miles on them and don't need to be replaced yet. They are quiet and grip well.

Pros: quiet, grip well
Mileage: 63000 km

Continental Tires

I haven't tried the Vittoria N.EXT, but I've ridden the GP5000 tubeless since they released around 6 years ago. My wife has been on the inner tube version. Great tyre, amazing grip, even in the wet, and very fast. I've also never had a flat. The only thing is they don't last super long - I reckon about 3-5000 km depending on your weight.

Pros: amazing grip, very fast
Cons: don't last long
Mileage: 4000 km

Hankook Ventus S1 evo3. Will not feel bad about using them for autox or track. As I picked up the cars after snow hit the ground, I took delivery with Conti VikingContact 7, which are pretty quiet.

Pros: pretty quiet

MICHELIN Tires

I put CC2s on my 17 Corolla. I was worried that it would be overkill, but as someone who has pretty much always cheaped out on tires, the upgrade was unbelievable. I live in Seattle, so we don't get a lot of snow. They handle extremely well in the rain.

Pros: handles well in rain

MICHELIN Tires

I personally didn't like Michelin tires when I was a tire technician, but I won't discount their strengths. The biggest problem with Michelin tires is dry rot, I don't recommend them if the car sits for long periods outside.

Pros: won't discount their strengths
Cons: dry rot, soft sidewall
