Tires MICHELIN or ADVAN

MICHELIN Tires

I’ve been riding the defenders two plus years in the Reno Tahoe area

I commute on 80 in all kinds of weather especially snow and honestly never had a problem

Pros: no problems in snow

MICHELIN Tires

My Winter set up includes Y rated tires, however they are not a Winter tire per Se. They are all season/ all-weather tires with the 3MPSF severe winter rating.

Pros: all season, severe winter rating

MICHELIN Tires

I had cross climate twos on my Chevy Bolt in northern Michigan, they were awesome for snow, but definitely hurt my range. I'd consider them again but just know that your range will be affected.

Pros: awesome for snow
Cons: hurt my range

MICHELIN Tires

If you’re driving that much I would just go with the Michelin defender 2s. Personally I wouldn’t buy any tires that aren’t Michelin they are by far the best imo

Pros: best tires

MICHELIN Tires

I’ve been driving Michelin Climacontact (285/20) for 4 years and two sets. A dedicated tire will always be better but for me it is a good compromise.

Pros: good compromise

I don’t have a lot of experience with winter tires, but the Michelin Pilot Alpins I used last winter were fantastic.

Pros: fantastic performance

I ran Michelin Pilot Sport AS4+ on my SQ5 before I sold it. For most CUV, running car all season tires is better and often cheaper solution if you never go off pavement (sand/mud/grass etc)

Vehicle: Audi SQ5
