I got a set of Kuhmos at America's Tire. Ordered online, drove to the store to have them installed. Same tire they use for the newer ID.4s. Not too expensive, and way better than the original Alenzas my '21 had.

Pros: way better than Alenzas
Cons: not too expensive
Vehicle: Volkswagen

Shinko Tires

I put on Shinko Ravens and they are more confidence inspiring than the Michelin Pilot 3s I was using.

Shinko Tires

Might I suggest some Shinko’s. I got 16k out of the back tire I got for my Goldwing, 12k+ of those were overloaded doing 80-90 across the country and through the Rockies.

Pros: high mileage, impressed
Cons: overloaded
Mileage: 16000 km

Shinko Tires

Get the shinko 777, they’re great. Stickiest compound tire I run and I have no issues in the rain. Great for wheelies too

Pros: stickiest compound, great wheelies
Cons: none

I replaced my Proxes with Kumho Ecsta PA51. They feel more comfy, but feel like they have a bit more road noise.

Pros: feel more comfy
Cons: more road noise

Kumho Tires

The only tire I've had that didn't feather in the rear was the Kumho ECSTA Platinum LX. But, it's easy to brake the tires loose on APR Stage 1.

Pros: no feathering in rear
Cons: easy to break loose

Kumho Tires

The Kumho are crap in the rain. I was facing hydroplaning issues within a week of buying the car.

The did do it in a decently controlled way but I have not been impressed with the stock tires at all. Not to mention I have 20k on them and about 10% of tread left.

Pros: decently controlled way
Cons: crap in the rain, hydroplaning

I have a US spec 2022 Wind AWD with 23,000 miles on these Kumho tires. In my less than 9 months of ownership I've had two tires patched from slow leaks and I just had to have the foam lining removed from a tire since it separated from the inner tire wall and created massive vibrations in the steering wheel.

Cons: slow leaks, massive vibrations
Vehicle: Kia
Mileage: 23000 km
