We went with Kumho Crugen tires when it was time to replace the stock Yokohama Geolanders. Its probably been 20K miles and they have been great. Quiet and the car handles the same.

Pros: quiet, great handling
Vehicle: Mazda
Mileage: 32186 km

Kumho Tires

I just put on Kumho RoadVenture AT and have had no complaints. CO just got hit with a pretty good snow storm (as least 6 inches) last week and they did great driving in it.

Pros: great driving in snow
Cons: no complaints

Kumho Tires

The Kumho is a far superior tire from a respected manufacturer based in South Korea. The Radar might look like the better deal up front, but it will likely wear fast and not perform anywhere near as good as the Kumho tires.

Pros: superior tire, respected manufacturer
Cons: wears fast, poor performance

Kumho Tires

I'm in Vancouver where it constantly rains for half the year and I haven't noticed any issue with the stock Kumhos whether in the city or on the highway.

Even in the snow, I felt they performed fine driving at half the speed limit in the city.

Pros: performed fine in snow
Cons: none
Vehicle: Kia

I'm running on Kumhos, so I can't say much about others. Kumho (KM17) is OK, but it generates a flat spot in few weeks if car just sits and then first 10 miles are bumpy. Quite cheap so perhaps I can stand that, but not really much cheaper than others, so I won't buy another set.

Pros: quite cheap
Cons: flat spot, bumpy
Part number: KM17

Mine is studded Kumho Wintercraft. It's actually quite good in the snow and ice, soft. But if we take the snow and ice out of the picture it's not that great, probably cause of studs.

Pros: good in snow and ice
Cons: not great without snow

RIKEN Tires

I’ve been running Riken Raptor ZR A/S tires since I got my WRX just over a year ago and FINALLY got my hands on a set of Blizzaks. I’m excited to see how they handle any future snows here in Colorado Springs. We just had a good bit of snow dumped on us this past week and the all seasons were definitely showing signs of needing replacement.

Cons: needing replacement
Vehicle: Subaru
