I switched my '25 Turbo to the Kumho Crugen HP71's and am very happy with the increased sound insulation and performance. Much better in rain than the Toyos I had (which developed a giant bump on the side wall 3k miles in).

Pros: increased sound insulation
Cons: Toyos developed bump
Mileage: 3000 km

This is new release from Kumho, so reviews were sparse with the exception of one from Germany. I have about 500 mi on the tires, they are awesome! I can get traction now WOT in 1st, they have a stiffer sidewall which makes them responsive and planted in corners. Further, the ride is quiet and smooth which is important to me for a DD.

Pros: responsive, planted in corners
Vehicle: Volkswagen
Mileage: 805 km

Kumho Tires

I've had the previous Kumho Ecsta Sport on a different car for budgetary reasons. They were great for a few months, but I felt like they lost a ton of grip after 10k miles or so. Longevity was my only complaint, but it was for my daily so even without a ton of grip, I'd consider them a good buy for value.

Pros: good buy for value
Cons: lost grip after 10k
Mileage: 16093 km

Maxxis Tires

As others have stated, it is important to factor in the tire's width when discussing the transition zone on the DHF. I love the 2.3 DHF. I find the 2.5 to be very good, but less predictable.

Pros: very good
Cons: less predictable

Kumho Tires

I have the same year and trim and tires. Just went in today for the 30K check (30,500 miles), and I have 5/32 on the front, 2/32 on the back. I am planning on changing all four now, just debating which tires to get. I'll probably get the Kumho Crugen's again, as they seemed really quiet.

Pros: seemed really quiet
Vehicle: Volkswagen
Mileage: 30500 km

Maxxis Tires

I just put a set of Rekon Race on my Roscoe. Haven't ridden the trails yet. Our trails are hard pack dirt, with a little sand, in the woods.

Maxxis Tires

Well, the Rekon races came highly regarded but my second day on one I flatted (rear tire). Maxxis claims it was a pinch flat. OK, maybe but it should have held up.

Pros: highly regarded
Cons: flatted rear tire

Kumho Tires

Some Kumho winter tires or someshit. Had them almost a decade ago and only went 1 winter on them before I said fuck it and bought Michelins.

Cons: not specified

Kumho Tires

I think it’s gotta be the Kumho all seasons I have on my DD right now, they have absolutely zero grip even on perfectly dry warm roads

Cons: zero grip, dry roads
