Basically, both are pretty good tires and at an equal price or a little bit more, I'd take the Generals...
Went with the Generals and have been getting anecdotally very good efficiency.
Ironman is a great budget tire
While you’re learning get Ironmans lol it’s like $70-80 per tire brand new and will hold up way longer than $30-40 used tires
I have these tires on my 01 Tahoe and they are a beast. Love em, especially in the snow in Michigan's upper peninsula. I take care of a camp about a third of a mile in on unpaved road and these things run me in there with snow bumper high like it ain't no thing. Muddy in the spring, same deal. Comfy on pavement, not a bad thing to say about them.
General grabbers at2 or atx whatever they are now, are great and last awhile on a Jeep.
i run general grabbers and theyre g2g
I got a set of General Grabber ATX last Fall. They look really similar to a KO2, and have the 3 peak snow rating.
Mid range brands that are decent but relatively cheap are General and Cooper.
My mother had a set of Generals on her MKZ. They never felt great, always had weird squirming, noise and vibration issues. They wore out fast, especially the shoulders due to constantly operating under inflated due to always losing air fast.
