I have Ventus V12 Evos in 205/40/17 on my MX-5 and I really like them. As as street tire/occasional autocross tire they have not let me down. I've run them to temps as low as the low 40's Fahrenheit and have been pleased with their performance.
I have a set of the Ventus V12 Evos on my R53, and they see auto-x and daily driving. I think they are great tires for the money, they are quiet, precise, and have some pretty incredible grip.
I'm running the V12's and find them pretty good for track/auto x duties. They especially shine in the wet. I find that I need to run them at a higher psi (around 38-40) to compensate for the 'sidewall issue' though.
I'm on my second set of PZero Nero A/S on my MKIV in 7 years. They handled a few decent snows that we had in MD/DC when I lived up there just fine. I have no complaints about them.
My 2012 GLI came with Pirelli PZero Nero A/S tires on it. It handles incredibly well, not sure how much of that is GLI and how much is the tires, but definitely no complaints here.
I had Pirelli snows last year and they worked great
Hankook Ventus V12 Evo Best tire I've ever had, esp. in the rain
those look decent I have hancook snow tires myself but a different model. They are loud, ride quality sucks, I can spin the tires without trying (not a good thing) and I can't turn hard with them but they are great in the snow which is all that matters
Got rid of the Hankooks on my SE V6, replaced them with Michelin Primacy with a small Discount Tire trade-in allowance. Ride is maybe a little better, expansion joint thump is a little better, but noise on all but the smoothest asphalt is bad; on concrete, it's almost intolerable.
Ordered a set of Michelin Primacy's to replace the junk Hancooks VW put on the car.
