Tires Hankook or OEM Mazda

Put some Hankooks on there; so much quieter and more comfortable. They aren’t as confidence-inspiring as the Yokos, but they are so much quieter and more forgiving. Kw/mi dropped to 270 with a mix of aggressive city driving and highway between 75-85mph.

I have the Hankook ION EVO on my M3 and they are a great smooth efficient tire, they now have 6k miles on them and no signs of wear yet.

For those in the market for new tires I just put a set of the Hankook ion evo tires on the X and they are INCREDIBLE. Before throwing these tires on I was definitely of the "there's no way these foam tires are going to make a differnce" school of thought. I'm a believer.

Hankook Winter i*cept RS for 128€/tyre is reasonable and work well in snow.

I’m quite impressed by how these tires perform on wet roads even with how aggressive they are compared to other similarly aggressive all terrains like the BFGoodrich KO2 that I used to have. They also have a pretty good 70K mile warranty which is pretty great!

I really like Hankook tires. I've had no problem with traction and acceleration with my MYP with the Hankook ION Evos.

For those who are interested, I had the Hankook ION Evo (Summer) tires installed to replace the stock Pirelli P Zero (PZ4) Elect tires on my Tesla Model 3 Performance ('22). There are pros and cons compared to the stock Pirelli tires, in my opinion:

Pros:

- Quieter (especially on highways)

- More comfortable (damping on uneven road surfaces, but uneven road surfaces also less noticeable in the steering)

- Better grip in rain and wet conditions

- Slightly lighter steering feel

- Slightly easier full acceleration straight of the line

- More efficient (+/- 1% less battery consumption per trip)

Cons:

- Steering feel and response are less direct

- Grip during hard cornering is not great (at least, the limit is simply lower than with the Pirellis)

- Overall sportiness is diminished

If you're just driving on dry pavement, they're ok. They are absolutely horrible on wet pavement (poor grip and hydroplane easy). My daily driver came with them on it new and couldn't wait to get them off.

Hate them hate them hate them. Looking for a replacement that won;t break the bank but will last me another 40K miles at least
