Hankooks are great. I find them quieter than the Michelins. 2019 M3 LR AWD. Got them in May and drove all over AZ and CO with them. Hwy and off road too. Heavy rain and mud. Haven’t tried them in snow yet.
I have been running 165/80 hankook k435 on my daily driver 1302 for over a year and haven't had any issues so far. Might want to check availability on those too.
I've been on the hankooks for about 6 weeks and I love them. I didn't see an increase in efficiency compared to the Goodyear but they're silent.
I have the Hankook ION EVO AS tires and they’ve been great for 2500 miles so far. It took about 1500 miles to break in and get the improved effeciency.
I really like Hankooks EV tire. Ion evo AS.
Both sizes are available in Hankook RS4. I've driven mine into the 40s and they're fine.
my mum has these Hankooks on her Peugeot 308 and they also seem to be okay for the price ... haven't driven much with it personally in the winter but i didn't hear her complain either
They are pretty hard tires. Loud, slip in the rain if you give it enough gas, don't feel as solid in a corner. But you'll get better gas mileage on them than a sport tire and they will take much longer to wear out.
2018 Accord EX-L here. At 50K, replaced OEM Hankooks with Michelin Premier A/S tires. Side note: tech trash talks Hankook while writing up the service order. On the way home, I notice the ride quality has improved significantly.
Summary: avoid Hankook tires
Hankook makes some of the cheapest crappiest tires. There was an issue with premature wear on the Explorers. Michelin is better but not hugely better. I'd use Continental DWS06 any day of the week.
