Hankook ion evo on my 2022 LR. Love em. Don’t care about handling, the car still drives like a go cart in my book. Quiet and efficient tire
I bought Hankook evo for the Lexus and it was very smooth, before I changed the car.
20k on the 19" Hankook Ion EVO AS
So the ride is quieter the handling is quite good and the efficency is amazing.
Hankooks are great. I find them quieter than the Michelins. 2019 M3 LR AWD. Got them in May and drove all over AZ and CO with them. Hwy and off road too. Heavy rain and mud. Haven’t tried them in snow yet.
I have been running 165/80 hankook k435 on my daily driver 1302 for over a year and haven't had any issues so far. Might want to check availability on those too.
I've been on the hankooks for about 6 weeks and I love them. I didn't see an increase in efficiency compared to the Goodyear but they're silent.
I have the Hankook ION EVO AS tires and they’ve been great for 2500 miles so far. It took about 1500 miles to break in and get the improved effeciency.
They are pretty hard tires. Loud, slip in the rain if you give it enough gas, don't feel as solid in a corner. But you'll get better gas mileage on them than a sport tire and they will take much longer to wear out.
Hankook iPikes. Bought used missing only 1/32 tread from factory new. $150 for the set from someone that sold the Hyundai they were on to get a Toyota SUV (don’t recall which one). I don’t care for them, being used to a higher tier of winter tire. They slip more on ice and snow grip is decent but I’ve had better in Blizzaks, or the best in Hakkapelitas.
Only experience with OE Hancocks was on a VW Passat. Took delivery on new car and drove home from the dealer in a snow storm and it was the most severe case of white knuckle syndrome ever. The car was absolutely dangerous and scary.
