Goodyear f1 eagle asymmetric 6 but slightly wider at 215/45/17. Transformed the car with much sharper turn in and the rear no longer wants to go sideways in the wet when I put the power on. Also much less road noise and seems to ride more smoothly. This is over the stock bridgestone.
I swapped my Goodyears for 50mm gravel king x1+. I love them and they have been really versatile.
I’m in the NE, 25 p4x LWB is my daily since July. Better than my old full size pickup and my AWD SUVs in the snow. Probably my favorite to drive ever, maybe neck and neck with my 95 Lincoln town car.
I had Winter iPike RS W419? on two different vehicles (a sedan and a CUV). Both vehicles handled great in fowl winter weather, tires were pretty quite for winter tires, they also wore pretty decently.
The iX does really well in the snow. No skidding at all on the Goodyear All-Seasons. I do feel vibration when going over 50 mph on the highway, and a google search said that it’s because of snow stuck in the wheels. I definitely have snow in there so hopefully it will improve once it melts.
My Hankook icept IZ3's are killing the New York weather...
Greedy NASCAR wants a 10 month season, they should ask Goodyear for a deal on snow tires.
I say get Goodyear to take the wet tire and give it deeper softer tread, make it a snow tire.
I had Hankook ION EVO summer tires on my Cupra Tvasvan and exchanged for Continental All season. De Hankooks had only 6K done and looked bad. Even the tire shop was very surprised about the condition. Never had that with any tire before.
I have a 2022 nissan sentra sv only 2,000 miles. came with 4 hankook kinergy gt tires. advertised as all year around. These are one of if not the most dangerous all year tires I have ever driven with. These things are going to end up killing someone. Ive slid/lost traction in winter far more and for far longer with these tires also while going at lower speeds. Yesterday driving home from work I was driving down a road that lead down a hill. the hill had a stop light. so the person infront of me and I stop. mind you we were only going maybe 6mph due to weather conditions. My car stops then proceeds to lose all traction while stationary. I turn my wheel to avoid hitting the person infront of me but low and behold im STILL sliding and im about to slide into oncoming traffic at the absolute last fucking second the tires magically get grip or traction again and stop. Absolute worst tires I have ever had the misfortune of using on the road in winter. No other car ive owned with all season tires has EVER done that.
