I just got myself a set of Cooper discoverer stronghold ATs 275/60/20. They were just released and according to my tire guy they are to compete with the falken wildpeaks. Got a really good price on them compared to the falkens and so far I have nothing but good things to say. If I remember correctly they are quite a bit lighter than other comparable tires. My mileage didn’t budge switching from 31.9” tires to 33”.
I personally like the Cooper AT3 XLT. Aggressive tread but quiet and very stable on pavement. Great wet traction.
Went from an all season to an all terrain and the only thing I noticed was a low hum sticky gravel sound at low turning speeds. Highway driving was about the same if not a bit quieter.
Just ditched the OEM set of Goodyears on our Atlas this weekend for a set of Michelins, do it. Don't let tires hold back enjoyment of a vehicle.
If you have a Walmart, Goodyear Reliant tires. They are Goodyear's Walmart exclusive tire. I have run about 5k on mine and so far, so good. Quiet, good grip, solid warranty. Better than my original tires that csme eith my car new.
I’m a cheap ass and I run the Walmart Cooper Discoverer A/T’s at 265/75/16 for $145 a tire. Perfectly fine for my driving which sounds similar to yours
The 32" Cooper Discoverer AT3s on our YJ have been great. And they were very affordable.
I had these on my 2021 MY as the last set of tires before I traded it for a 2024. They lasted longer than an OEM set, nothing negative about the performance but there was a drop in efficiency, even way after the break in period.
Ran coopers for a lot of years. Then had a relatively new set on my Grand Prix say 10k miles. Went on a road trip in 800 miles had 3 bulge out to different degrees.
Don't like Cooper.
