Tires Firestone or Goodyear

If it's warm I'd recommend considering the Goodyear SuperCar 3. It is faster than the RS4 or RT615k+, better wearing than the RE71/Rival/Yok.

You can still buy "PNEUMANT" Tires in Germany and Austria.

Went with Goodyear WinterCommands in 215/65/17 on VW steel rims. Worked them into the deal when we purchased the Tig. Definitely didnt want to run 19s in the winter.

I save some cash and can get in sooner with a local Firestone. They do good work and have never let me down.

For summer tires I'd go with Michelin pilot sport 4s if you have cash to burn or Firehawk indy 500s if you are looking for a good price/performance balance.

In the end, anything is better than that garbage Firestone FR740 OE tires. That tire is crap on light snow, and so so in the rain. I am very happen I have better tires now.

Firehawk Indy 500. Fantastic value, outstanding dry and wet performance. I had them on my last car (Taurus SHO) and immediately put a set on my CC. Love them.

Versatility is not a benefit if the rain tire or dry tire is suitable in the conditions, because they could just run that tire.

Mine only made it about 20k. They aren't very good off-road tires either.

Yesterday we had to buy 4 new tires because the OEM Goodyear Wrangler All Terrain Adventure with Kevlar tires which had a 60k limited warranty (they can't honor) were bald after just 30k road driving... anyone had a similar experience ?
