Tires Firestone or GOODRIDGE

Firestone Tires

Firestone Destination AT2. Central Oregon driving in the deserts, highways, ice & snow while often pulling a travel trailer. “No regerts.”

I've enjoyed the "garbage" Indy 500s on my Challenger since shortly after I bought it, but they're getting up there in age and will be replaced in the spring. Quite possibly with another set. Had another tire in mind as a potential contender, but now I can't remember which one. That car is used for hauling butt on curvy roads, has never been driven in rain, but on hard packed snow. Then the Firestones are all but useless. And I'm sure that worn ones can be interesting in rain. I have DWS06s on a couple of vehicles and really like them, but if not driving on snow the DW version would be fine for me. They really impressed me on wet pavement, although that was years ago and tire offerings have changed.

Pros: good on curvy roads, impressive on wet pavement
Cons: useless on hard packed snow
Vehicle: Dodge

Firestone Destination LE3s are amazing! They are more of a highway type tread, so if you're looking for a more aggressive tread pattern, check out their other tires. Firestone All-Seasons are a well-handling option for wet and dry conditions.

Pros: amazing, well-handling option

Firestone is a great tire brand! I trust them with all my vehicles. The Firestone Destination LE3s are great tires. If you're looking for some better handling in wet conditions. I'd go with the Firestone All-Seasons.

Pros: great tire brand
Cons: better handling in wet

I'd highly recommend the Firestone Destination LE3s. They're usually warrantied for 60k miles and a great middle of the road tire.

Pros: great middle of road

These tires are terrible. I’m in MA and they struggle in light snow. Mine only have 32k miles but I’m replacing them asap because they are actually dangerously bad, even in 4WD

Cons: terrible, struggle in snow
Mileage: 51500 km

The Firestone destination le2 are straight garbage. Mine have 32k on them and they have zero grip in the snow, even in light powder snow. I might replace them before they are worn just because of how dangerous they are in wet and snowy conditions

Cons: zero grip in snow
Mileage: 32000 km
