Tires Firestone or GOODRIDGE

Firestone Tires

I’ve only got a focus st but my firestone fire hawk indy500s have been really nice to me. Not 200tw so they’ll last longer but lots of grip and not terribly expensive

Pros: lots of grip, not expensive
Cons: not 200tw
Vehicle: Ford Focus

I'm waiting on my factory tires to get a little more wear on them before I replace them. However, when I do I know I'm going with a much better set of Firestone tires then what the factory put.

Pros: much better set

I replaced my great condition hankook run flats with cheapo firestone weathergrips and they are better in every way. Warm weather, cold weather, rain, snow.. Better traction and ride comfort across the board.

Pros: better traction, ride comfort

I like firestone firehawk indy 500. summer tire. sticky. reminds me of the old yokohama S.Drive. Plenty of grip wet or dry, and in dry it's the only one that's let me put down full power coming out of a corner without going all spastic or lighting the traction control lamp.

Pros: plenty of grip, sticky
Cons: lasts relatively OK
Vehicle: MINI

Put Firestone Destination AT2s on mine. Great tire and good meaty look. The positive is that fuel economy only went down by 2 to 24.7 from 26.7.

Pros: good meaty look
Cons: fuel economy decrease
Vehicle: Hyundai

The tires I currently have are Firestone Firehawk Indy 500s, which were on the car when I bought it. For my use case I generally like them, with one exception: wet weather performance. Even though moderate NorCal doesn't see too many rainy days, I've felt myself losing traction/hydroplaning on quite a few occasions. If it weren't for this issue, I could easily see myself just replacing them with another set of Firehawks and calling it a day

Pros: good dry performance
Cons: poor wet weather performance, hydroplaning

Do NOT buy Firestone Tigerpaws. Under the blue white wall protection is a 1" "whitewall" that the carbon in the rubber penetrates right thru. They are tobacco brown in just a few days. Garbage product.

Cons: tobacco brown in days, garbage product

Just got these on my wife's cx5 and yeah they didn't feel much better than the blizzaks we just removed. Then she texted over the weekend to say they're the loudest tires she's ever had and the road noise is terrible.

Pros: null
Cons: loudest tires, terrible noise
Vehicle: Mazda
