Tires FEDERAL or Cooper

Cooper Tires

Both my Corolla and gf's CRV sport Cooper CS5 Ultras now. Definitely better than what was on them before. Very noticeable on the winding mountain roads, combined about 80 miles per day.

Pros: noticeable on winding roads

Cooper AT3's, 215/70-16 to fit an 04 FXT. Fantastic tires, even does great in the snow down to about 20F (or did when new, they're 50-60% worn now and pretty scary on ice, as are all AT tires).

Pros: fantastic tires, great in snow
Cons: scary on ice when worn

I've got STT Pros on my 2500hd and KO2s on my TJ both of which were a daily driver for extended periods of time. The Cooper's are definitely louder, but the entire truck is loud, so it doesn't really bother me. The comments here ring pretty true, and I'll take my Jeep in the snow rather than the truck. Honestly, just do what makes you happy. The trade-offs are miniscule if you know your limitations and drive appropriately.

Pros: take Jeep in snow
Cons: Cooper's are louder
Vehicle: Jeep

I recently bought a new to me truck with 285/60/20 federal couragia fx tires. So far they ride really well in dry or wet weather, warm or cold.

Pros: ride really well
Cons: low tread wear rating
Vehicle: Dodge RAM

I had cooper evo tours on my E90 bmw, they were good tires, a little on the noisy side but otherwise fine, especially for the price I paid.

Pros: good tires, fine price
Cons: a little noisy
Vehicle: BMW

Get any reputable tire: Falken Sincera, Continental Control Contact, Yokohama AVID, Hankook Kinergy, Cooper Evolution, etc. Spend a total of $50 more, and your tires will run much safer, and for even longer.

Pros: safer, run longer
Cons: cheap tires unsafe
Vehicle: Nissan

I've had Evo595 and they aren't that good. I ordered their RS-R and were sent RS-RR instead due to being sold out. These are so much better (quite loud if that's fine) have been on daily for 11k miles now with tread at okay level.

Pros: much better
Cons: quite loud
Mileage: 11000 km

These are not great street tires for DD use. You compare them to PS4s but they are not the same class. These are faster wearing, much louder, worse in cool temperatures (think in the 60°s), worse in the rain, much more prone to tramlining, less comfortable, and you'll never be able to use them to their potential on public roads.

Cons: faster wearing, much louder
