I ended up opting for Federal 595RS-RR their cheaper and i like how they perform
I'm running 255/35R18 Federal 595RS-Pro and like them alot. Pretty affordable and nice level of grip.
Comforser are well-known tires and they offer great traction and performance. Comforser off-road tires can easily handle deep muddy terrains and manage to maintain forward motion at all times. On the other hand, this tire brand is a little bit noisy, but they are great for highway use. Being manufactured in China, Comforser Tyres can offer the latest tyre technology which improves longevity, fuel consumption and performance in both wet and dry road conditions.
Ran the original tires for 6yrs just replaced them with some Federal Evoluzion ST-1 225/50ZR/17 high performance tires summer only all Im going to say is money well spent ????
Id suggest learning ro drive better honestly. Comforser tyres are made in China by a Canadian company and are extremely reliable and cost effective.
Independently tested they are quieter than most and have excellent rating in wet conditions. We fit Comforser CF1100 on our landrover and they perform better than most other tyres in the most challenging conditions.
I ran a set for 45k kilometres on my TJ with suspension aligned nicely and liked them. Hard tyre, so wet grip when cold is below average.
Ive got comforser 1100’s on the truck they are pretty common around here.good in snow and mud, they are ok on the highway I’ve put 75000km on them and am only about halfway through their lifespan and average 9.2l/100 (~26mpg.)with the babydiesel going about 130-140km/h (80-90mph) the biggest issue is they have to be rotated every oil change and aren’t as good as more expensive options in the rain.
They seem to grip decent once warmed up, but they are a bit on the loud side.
In size 225/40 (r18), their thread width is comparable to other makers ~205. Well, does it matter? Yes, in the sense that when you install them onto an 8.5 wide rim, you'll notice that you're stretching the fit, and the sweating starts. Installing a tire alone with a basic tire machine is no longer possible.
I got federals once because bills were coming all at once. Worst tires i ever had, so noisy, rough on the road and just didn’t feel great. Snow they were actually great surprisingly.
