I’ve been running 37” g003s for 12000 miles lots of highway and they are amazing. No issues on anything. Granted they are pricey as hell but wear pretty evenly and slowly. On pace for 55000 or miles with current wear.
I have the Yokohama X-ATs. Love them, have 50K miles on them and they're still have a decent amount of tread left. Quieter than I expected and no complaints off road so far.
Yokohamas would get my vote, theyre decent tires and the price reflects such. But i would also suggest Michelin or Continental offerings.
I have Yokohama Avid Ascend tires for my Camry and they are very good. I would recommend you to try those, you wont be disappointed.
Put Yokohoma Advans and now being driving for 33k miles with no issues. Also has noticeably less road noise than stock Falkens.
I settled on a new set of four Yokohama Advan Sport + A/S tires in 255/40/19 with a 55K mile warranty.
You can't beat Bilsteins, if that's the problem. In my experience tires make a difference. Falken Sincera A/S250 is an exceptional tire.
Put some Wildpeak AT3s on my ‘03 4Runner last Spring, putting them to the test this Winter in Michigan, and I absolutely love them.
meh.. the falkens can really get you in trouble in rain if you're not carefull. yes they provide alot of grip in the rain, but they'll breakaway (lose grip) with little to no warning unlike the goodyear eagle F1's which were pretty gradual.
Yeah, made the mistake of buying Chinese tyres a while back, damn things would understeer into corners and oversteer out and that was summer driving, fortunately work picked up and I was able to swap them out for a set of new Yokohamas, still the scariest 3 months of driving I\`ve had in 40+ years of driving.
