I put Falken Aklimate's on my Honda Fit and it was night and day in the snow, they're also quieter in the summer.
I’ve got these on my ND as well. Absolutely love them. They perform great in the snow, and aren’t too soft and mushy when it’s dry.
Absolutely blown away by how confidence inspiring this car becomes in the winter with these on! We just got a few inch dusting and the stability is absolutely fantastic - this is my first time driving a RWD sports car in inclimate winter weather/temps, but seriously, this feels better than pretty much any other car I've driven with all seasons in this kind of weather. These tires shred in the snow.
Running Vredestein Wintracs on both, and they are basically unstoppable in all winter conditions. So worth it.
I have an AWD Volvo with haldex too and just drove it in a snow storm and only slid unintentionally once. I’m also running all seasons that are 3 peak rated(Falken Aklimate) and once again have had no issues in the wet heavy slick snow going both down and uphill and with heavy foot accelerations on flat ground.
I thought it was amazing on snows. I remember charging down Big Pines Highway in a driving snowstorm feeling like I was in a rally stage, it just had grip and traction for days with my Vredestein Wintrak Pros
These look like Vredestein quatracs, which are an excellent all season/all weather tire. They are not a winter tire though. Much better in winter conditions than the 3 season tires which are standard in the US, but not as good as a winter tire.
had both Vredestein Wintrac and Bridgestone Blizzak, they are fine
Not only will they not hold up, they suck in every category otherwise...sound,traction,comfort.
The factory Falken tires on the Cx90 PHEV will not wear well and you will be lucky to get 10-12k miles outta the new tires.
