Tires Falken or OEM Chevrolet

Falken Tires

A better budget option for Ohio would be the falken aklimate or other all weather equivalents, just saying the aklimate because it's really good for the price and performance

Pros: good price and performance

I liked mine. Recently moved to falken wildpeak at4w and like them a lot too. If you do any towing I think the at4w feel a little bit stiffer which is nice for towing.

Pros: stiffer feel, nice for towing

Downsized to a 17 inch wheel with Falken Wildpeak A/T Trails and the ride quality is actually better (there are a lot of potholes where I live), plus the additional peace of mind that when I drive on gravel forest roads I am less likely to get a puncture compared to all season tires.

Pros: better ride quality

I’ve had the Falken Wildpeaks for 55k miles and have LOVED them. Pretty much the best tires I have ever owned IMO. Durable, capable, great in rain, good in the soft stuff (sand mud snow) and I had no issues.

Pros: durable, great in rain
Mileage: 55000 km

I have Falkens now, and am considering the Geolanders because they do slightly better in the rain. I'm not sure which is better in the snow. The Falkens have been fantastic in the snow, as you probably know, but I find traction isn't great on wet roads.

Pros: fantastic in the snow
Cons: traction isn't great
