I have the wild peak 4’s (35’s) and love them … mileage dropped about 2-3 mpg … not to loud on street and so far good in rain and great offroad
I just put at4’s on my JLUS - just as quiet as the factory AT’s and feel the same on the freeway - feel grippier on dry pavement than stock, haven’t had a chance to try them in the rain yet.
I’ve been really happy the AT3’s I got year before last, they perform admirably offroad and in snow, and they are great on the highway to boot
I’ve had the falken at3’s for the last 4 years. Amazing tires that have treated me very well. Great in all conditions with good throttle control and very good wet weather grip compared to the KO2’s I had before.
Falken WinterPeak F-Snow 1. It's one of the cheapest winter tires - about $80/tire in the 195/65R15 size - but test results show it competes well with the Nokian Hakkapeliitta R5, Continental VikingContact 7, and Michelin X-Ice Snow, which are the gold standards in premium winter tires. It looks like the Falken suffers a little with dry handling, so just don't drive your Corolla like a sports car. The Falken is still competitive in the wet, snow, and ice, which is where it really matters.
I have been running 265/75/16's SL with 2 ply standard sidewall for the last 30k miles on a first gen tundra. I run them pretty hard on and off road, including airing down. I haven't had any issues and am hard pressed getting a much heavier tire since these have performed so well
Nitto NT555 G2’s have been very good to me in a place that never sees below 60. Rain, sunshine, don’t matter. They grip and don’t break the bank.
Had Falken RT615k+ previously and they're great fresh, but you won't get much mileage (11k mi) out of them and they pick up punctures easy with how soft the compound is.
Avoid the nitto grapplers. They’re horrible on wet pavement especially when it begins to drizzle.
the Nitto Grapplers are horrible on wet pavement. Too bad, because they worked well for me otherwise.
