Tires Falken or NANKANG

Falken Tires

I recently purchased a set of 235/50-18 Falken Wildpeaks for $500CAD...typically $1500CAD and the tires looked brand new (about 5 months of driving on them according to seller). They ride awesome on my Maverick and I will continue to buy used tires.

Pros: ride awesome, looked brand new

NANKANG Tires

Nankang NS2-R is best bang for buck track tyre hands down.

It’s marginally slower than most other semi-slicks, but it will last longer, it will be faster than any premium road tyre on track.

Pros: best bang for buck
Cons: marginally slower

That being said, the CR-S is an incredible tire if your focus is driving on dry tracks. I found wear to be good with very consistent laptimes, it doesn‘t overheat easily, which is something I very much enjoy. Being able to push for many laps with the tire staying consistent and predictable is quite a treat if you ask me. Performance in the wet however isn‘t really good.

Pros: consistent laptimes, doesn't overheat
Cons: performance in wet bad

Falken Tires

Eigentlich sind alle Reifen von nennenswerten Herstellern ziemlich solide. Keine linglong reifen, aber Namen wir Falken, Conti, Michelin, Goodyear sind die gängigsten.

Pros: ziemlich solide

I run Wildpeak AT3Ws. They've been pretty good in the summer and perfectly fine in up to 6in of snow and packed snow in Colorado.

Pros: pretty good in summer

Falken Tires

Have them on a RAV4 TRD and they are nearly the same as the Falken that were stock, both are not really a truck winter tire in my opinion.

Pros: nearly the same
Cons: not winter tire
Vehicle: Toyota

That’s very interesting. My limited trim came with the falken tire which is even worse. It’s gone at 22k. Yokohama in my experience is pretty good

Cons: worse, gone at 22k
Mileage: 22000 km

I bought a brand new 2003 Toyota tundra TRD Pro with four 285/65- 18 tires and they are completely spent after 27,000 MI.  These tires are rated for $40 to 50,000 mi.... I would never buy these tires again

Pros: rated for high mileage
Cons: completely spent after 27000
Mileage: 43452 km
