Tires Falken or MRF

Falkens, better ride and last longer than BFG or Nitto.

I have Walken Wildpeaks A/T 255/55-18 Tires on my 23 MYP. Bought from Tsportline with their overland pkg. Not much range hit and no need to change any speedo.

I’ve been liking my wildpeaks at4s. Haven’t had damage off-roading only puncture I’ve had was a roof nail on the road.

I have the same tires. On smaller aftermarket rims but they’ve been a great tire. I’ll get the same tires again this spring.

One of my stock tires finally decided to kick the bucket, so I replaced them with a set of Falken Wildpeak A/T Trails. So far I like them, they’re the same size as the stock tires, but the handling is superb (especially in rain and on gravel). A little more road noise and a bit of reduction in gas mileage, but I’m cool with it.

I went with Wildpeak AT Trail because highway driving is my priority, with occasional drives on the beach and gentle Forest Service roads. I see a lot of soft-roading in this sub-reddit they can handle.

I had got the same issue and yeah normal mrf dealer said the same thing. Best option is go to the mrf warehouse...in my case it was just a 10 minute process. Then the guy did a quick inspection of the wear and tear. Mine was less than 5 mm so I wasn't charged anything and got a replacement tyre instantly.

The factory Falken tires on the Cx90 PHEV will not wear well and you will be lucky to get 10-12k miles outta the new tires.

Look out for shoulder cracks on the Falkens. Tread might look great, but the tread cleats will start to crack on the shoulders. Nothing you can do about it. Plan on replacing them around 25-30k miles.
