Bin ein großer Fan von Falken im mittleren Preissegment.
Falken Wild Peak AT tires. That’s all I buy for the wife and girls sedan.
I've never felt safer and more in control than in these. They're tough, and thick. Also quite heavy too (will very slightly affect MPG, i lost 1-2mpg switching over to these from the stock tires) but surprisingly quiet. They have performed well in the mountains of socal and Colorado (summer/autumn) and haven't shown an inch of damage through what I put them through. Outside of that, they perform extremely well in rain, and you can feel the traction and control. Wildpeaks are expensive, but from what I've experienced and felt, I think every penny is worth it
My MPG dropped from 41.2 to 38.7 when I switched to Falken Wildpeak AT3 all terrains this summer. I couldn’t do another winter on crappy tires.
I have the Wildpeak AT3. So far I like them. A couple MPG drops but worth in the end, especially now that snow has come. Stock tires were ass
If you’re on a budget get some GT Radials from Amazon for like $65-$80 per tire. They’re Chinese tires but they’re one of the better ones. I think I paid about $400 total for my tires and all services and they’ve been really solid for me.
If you’re really worried about it, Falken Wildpeaks are the GOAT for All Terrain tires with very very good performance in wet and snow
I had Falken A/T3W on my 2016 primarily for daily driving in rain and snow. On my 2024, I've got Falken R/T because the A/T3W and A/T4W were out of stock and I didn't want to wait. They're not bad, and at least they're C load rating.
Horrible tires
these things are junk. When it’s cool outside they shake. I’m currently 2k miles in and the comfort and everything else is abysmal for a 60k car.
