Tires DUNLOP or KENDA

The 999 rear does skid out much easier then the Dunlop American elite, however I like to skid so that is a pro for me. I ran thru 2 Dunlop elites quite quickly. For the record I did like the Dunlop AE, just didn’t like replacing it every season

The Elites are a much better tire and I’m going to miss them when they’re gone.

I run Dunlop American Elites. Mind you, I do so because it’s a good tire - not so much a ‘Made in America’ reason, albeit a plus.

Dunlop SP Sport J6, my go to for budget tyres. The wet and dry performance is good although it can get a bit noisy over time.

I've got 35x12.5R17 MT2s and they're about as you'd expect for a large knobby mud tyre (noisy and added vibration).

Off road, great tyre. Really good value too.

20k miles, wore completely. However gotta say that they perform great when new/mid life.

Grippier enough to keep the car balanced on hard situations.

Cons: Dunlop SportmaxxGt tires are run flat, so can be noisy or tend to be harsh at ride.

20k is what I got out of mine. They aren't bald, but it's time. They aren't bad tires, but I don't feel any advantage over a quality all season like Michelins.

I bought a $500 bike (Scott Sub Cross 50) for my kid. Comes with Kenda Booster tires. On 2nd day of commute to school, tire ripped at the middle seam, around 3 inches long.

I wanted to love Kendas new line of stuff they dropped a while back. I threw a couple Regoliths on my mtb and destroyed the rear on the first ride. I never have tire issues.

Yes, Kenda tires are low quality. I bought a set with “flat protection” for my commuter several years ago. After less than a week, a 1/2” piece of glass created a gash in the front tread and casing and ruining the tire.
