Tires DUNLOP or Goodyear

Goodyear Tires

Yes they are. I replaced mine with Sumintano HTRZ IIIs and things quieted down considerably.

Pros: quieter than Goodyear
Cons: noisy tires

Goodyear Tires

Like Tim said above, it depends on the tire. Some are more dedicated to pure dry weather grip, some have a better rain compound and tread. Like poster #2 above, I have Goodyear F1's. The reason I chose those is because they are just about unbeatable in the rain, it's like driving on a dry road. They can stand the car on it's nose under braking, and grip harder when turning. They give up very little in dry ultimate grip, too.

Pros: unbeatable in the rain
Cons: bad below freezing temp

Goodyear Tires

I really liked my Goodyear F1 All Seasons when I was living in Mass. They are an excellent combo for all weather conditions and performance.

Pros: excellent combo, all weather

DUNLOP Tires

I am not happy with the quality of the Dunlop tires and I feel they should replace all the tires with a better reinforced sidewall in order to avoid the problem from resurfacing.

Cons: bubbles on tires
Vehicle: Volkswagen

DUNLOP Tires

Having had bad experiences w/ a few different sets of Dunlop tires (most recently the craptastic SP Sport 5000s on my Genesis which are 90% worn with only approx. 10k miles on them since I run snow tires in the winter), I have to say I'm not a fan of their tires generally speaking.

Cons: 90% worn with 10k miles
Vehicle: Hyundai Genesis
Mileage: 16093 km
