Tires DUNLOP or Giti

I had minor concerns about these "Giti" tires but they remind me of the Continental Pro Contacts on previous VW's. Handling, noise, traction are all decent for an OEM tire.

Pros: decent handling, decent traction
Cons: funny name

Here are my initial impressions:

Pros:

a) Quieter than the Dunlop Super Sport 7000s that come stock. This could be because my stock tires were showing some surficial cracks in the rubber, although this complaint is normal. The stock tires crap out within 50,000 km anyhow.

e) Good rain performance...no issue with braking during rainfall on these tires.

Cons:

a) Sizing of the stock tires means that the tires will follow the downslope direction of the road crown, even if it's a minor one (this is partially due to the short wheelbase and hyper sensitive steering rack). I got my tires aligned after the install, before the alignment brigade chimes in.

Overall, I am very happy with the tires. They work as advertised and didn't tear a hole in a my wallet. They are a valid option for those seeking new tires for the Fit.

Pros: quieter than stock, good rain performance
Cons: follows road crown, sensitive pressure
Vehicle: Honda Fit
Mileage: 50000 km

Ive noticed that my new 2019 SE has Giti brand tires. So far, they seem fairly quiet and have an acceptable ride and handling. Running recommended 41psi.

Pros: fairly quiet, acceptable ride

DUNLOP Tires

I run Audi A3 17" wheels with Dunlop 3D sport winters. They're not the best snow tire, but they are significantly better than an all season and I have yet to have any issues getting around. Car feels stables, and brakes are actually effective unlike with all seaons.

Pros: car feels stable
Cons: not the best
Vehicle: Audi A3

DUNLOP Tires

Can confirm , the dunlops are absolute garbage in the snow. Bought a set of beater oem 16 wrx wheels off of marketplace today and will be slapping on some premium awd snow donut shoes tomorrow, almost hit a curb going five mph leaving a stoplight. They have as much traction in snow , as a puck has on a air hockey table.. prepare to buy tires if you live in a winter challenged climate .

Cons: absolute garbage in snow

DUNLOP Tires

I absolutely hated the stock gpr-300s on my ninja. In the dry they worked fine (only lowsided twice in a parking lot from trying to make the smallest possible circles), but I slid out constantly in the wet (thankfully never crashed) at normal lean angles and not very much throttle. I replaced them after about 4k miles.

Pros: worked fine in dry
Cons: slid out in wet
Mileage: 6437 km

DUNLOP Tires

About 2 years ago I had 4 Dunlop Conquest Touring tires installed on my 2015 Passat. About 5 months ago, less than 15,000 miles we noticed a groaning sound coming from the passenger side rear. I had all 4 tires rotated and now the noise is coming from the passenger side front. This was more annoying than having the groaning noise come from the rear so we had them rotated back again. The \"dealer\" said it was due to cupping and that's common with Dunlop.

Cons: groaning sound, cupping
Mileage: 15000 km
