Tires Cooper or Vredestein

Cooper Tires

Having said that I had AT3 4s tires on my F150, and even at 70k km they still outperformed all season tires.

Pros: outperformed all season tires
Cons: winter performance limitation
Vehicle: Ford
Mileage: 70000 km

Slippery situations involving rain and snow have fully convinced me of their grip. Get them. I have 22s and still bulldoze through most. Wet, muddy hills though? No problem. Cooper Discoverer AT3 4S 285/50/22 is specifically what I have. Very quiet.

Pros: great grip, very quiet
Part number: 285/50/22

I just got them for my Accord last week. So far they have been a good buy. They are far quieter and feel grippier on wet pavement than the Goodyear Eagle LS-2s that they replaced. I'll ll have to see how they wear, and feel how their performance changes over time.

Pros: quieter, grippier on wet

Put a set on my 2017 Ford Explorer Limited up sized slightly 255/55/20 . Had for 2 weeks and have been very pleased with the performance. We have had heavy rain, Snow and ice and they have been very predictable.

Pros: very predictable performance

They are quiet and smooth riding. I think they are a bit softer than your standard all season, so in Florida they will wear fast.

Pros: quiet and smooth riding
Cons: wear fast in Florida

Vredestein Tires

I recently put the Vredstein Quatrac pro+ tires on my Golf R and finally got to test them in snow this past weekend and they too were excellent in the snow. The roads were covered in snow and ice and it dumped over the weekend, great tire and they had the right size for my golf unlike the cross climates. These tires seem to be a bit sportier in dry handling as well, with a Y speed rating, wet traction has also been awesome. I don’t have a ton of mile on the tires but based on my experience so far, including in the weather, I’d recommend them.

Pros: excellent in snow, awesome wet traction

I think in my case where my Toyota Sprinter is a 5MT 4WD vehicle (with a center locking diff i might add ????), the Vredesteins are my favorite. In the other 3 seasons of the year where there is no snow, they are excellent in the wet, they are relatively quiet and i enjoy how they perform with more "spirited" driving.

Pros: excellent in wet, relatively quiet
Vehicle: Toyota Sprinter

I’d recommend Cooper Discoverer STT Pro, they handle well as daily driver offroad tires, road noise is not that bad on the highway and their mud and snow performance is very good.

Pros: good mud, snow performance
Cons: road noise not bad

Cooper tires are a joke. I just got a set and one popped on a gravel road and the other just started losing air for no reason.

Cons: popped, losing air
