Tires Cooper or GENERAL TIRE

GENERAL TIRE Tires

I have General G-Max AS05's on my BMW. They are an all-season performance tire. I like them. Less expensive than most.

Pros: less expensive, I like them
Vehicle: BMW

GENERAL TIRE Tires

For a little more money the Altimax RT45 from General (owned by Continental) is actually an exceptional tire, that's what I have on my Crown Victoria, my dad's Camry, and my stepmom's Sonata. It's probably the best thing you can buy for the money

Pros: exceptional tire, best value

Cooper Tires

after looking online to see what the best bang for the buck *appears* to be, the Cooper Discoverer All-Terrain for $114/each is a pretty bangin' deal. I haven't loved Cooper's wet traction historically but they've made big strides in the past few years about catching up with that.

Pros: good value for money
Cons: wet traction historically

GENERAL TIRE Tires

Altimax is a great tire. Have it on the kids car and performs great during the summer and in the winter in snow and ice.

Pros: great summer and winter performance

Cooper Tires

AT3. Much better on-road, better mpg, not as good off-road, but still very good.

Pros: better on-road, better mpg
Cons: not as good off-road

GENERAL TIRE Tires

They are great when they are new but as you put miles on them and the tread wears I thought they sucked. I replaced my generals with about half tread life because in the rain they liked to hydroplan.

Pros: great when new
Cons: hydroplaned in rain
