Tires Cooper or GENERAL TIRE

I went for General Altimax RT45 year round on our Bolt. The price was right, they have good longevity and did well in Tire Rack's tests. Slight dip in range to the tune of ~5-10 miles. Just good all-arounders at nice price. They outdid the Defender 2 in Tire Rack's tests.

I did Cooper pro controls when considering these and I do not regret the decision at all.

I also run General Tires Grabber HTS60 for the Summer, as these were highly rated by Consumer Reports (which I use religiously), and I mostly pull an RV trailer (5,500 lbs) on the highway. They too have been great.

I usually get over 75k on my Cooper AT3s in my Toyota, but they've been discontinued.

Cooper Discoverer All Terrain is what I run on my Ram 2500. Great looking tire and a set of 4 was 660 plus like $18 per tire install at Walmart.

I just ordered a set of tires + rims from Quattro Tire.

This is probably the 8th order from them over the years. Shipping takes about a week, arrives via courier to your door.

New tires are Cooper Discoverer Stronghold AT 285/75R17, which have a 129 load rating (4,080lbs) and only weigh 56lbs. They are 11.2” wide so hopefully don’t rub like the BFG’s (will be installed next week), and weighing 10lbs less per tire is a big difference which will help the MPG. And a 60k mile warranty is nice.

This is the 1st gen MotoMaster Winter Edge tires made by Cooper, bought in 2017. Noticed this damage, when I took them off for Summer Tire swap earlier this year, some are on the outer edge, others on the inner edge.

I just installed these on my sequoia less than a week ago and the balance feels off already . They have what feels like flat spots with pretty good shaking for the first 5-10 minutes after cold start driving . Once tires are warmed up it almost goes away .
