Yep, another recommendation for the Continental ExtremeContact DWS 06+. I have these on my TT, and my son has them on his R32 and GTI. I really like them. My next tires for my Dodge will likely be these tires. They are great in the rain and dry, they're not loud, and they are decent in light snow, but they are certainly not snow tires.

Pros: great in rain and dry, not loud
Cons: not snow tires
Vehicle: Audi TT

i run these tires on my Fusion, they are low profile, have good traction. As they are low profile, performance tires, they transmit road feel more than normal tires.

Pros: good traction, low profile
Cons: transmit road feel
Vehicle: Ford Fusion

Continental DWS. Gave up some responsiveness but rides on clouds now. Much more compliant on the roads now (19 inch wheels)

Pros: rides on clouds
Cons: gave up responsiveness

Decided to bump it up 5 to 245/40/20 and 275/35/20 and try some Continental ExtremeContact tires. Tested them out and noticed the faster I go the more floaty or the feeling that the car is 30 feet long (aka 1980's boat sized cars). Is this from what I've read that the sidewalls are softer on continental tires?

Cons: floaty feeling, softer sidewalls
Vehicle: BMW

Continental Tires

My 2013 Tig with continental contact-pro tires has just lost the 2nd tire to sidewall failure at only 30k mi. First was a blowout, thankfully while parked. Second was a slow leak. No known issue that would have caused side-wall failure. Never saw that before.

Cons: sidewall failure, slow leak
Mileage: 48280 km
