I replaced a pair of 2013 accord tires with **Vredestein Quatrac 5** and those are serving me well from last 4 years and 15000 miles .
You should expect a slightly worse gas mileage, but not by much. In exchange you're getting excellent traction in the snow and rain though, so definitely a good choice for a tire.
I haven’t gotten my MYLR yet, but on my CX-5 I did a ton of research and the Bridgestone Weatherpeak edged out CC2 on many fronts.
I drove through some bad winter storms on them and they’re a beast. My MPG was also not affected, or were barely affected (like 0.2-0.4mpg less), compared to the Toyo stock tires.
We ended up replacing ours at 25k with Vredestein Quatrac Pro’s from Tire Rack. I highly recommend them.
Installed 4 Vredesteins 2 weeks ago done great in rain, snow, and dry.
I've been running a set of Weatherpeaks on my Kia Seltos since spring.
They are quiet, didn't impact fuel mileage at all from the OEM all seasons, handle great in dry and wet, and the snow traction has been exemplary. Glare ice is not perfect, but really only a good studded winter stands a chance with that. Mixture of snow/ice is handled with no problem...When they do break traction, they have been very predictable and easy to recover.
I put a set of 4 weatherpeaks on our FWD Mazda 3 and I have been very pleased. Quiet, smooth, surprising good in the snow (especially for fwd). And great in dry and rain so far too. Would absolutely buy again.
Vredestein Pinza AT.
Kept seeing tons of good things, but not actual reviews. Live in Reno/Tahoe area up Mt Rose and have been really happy this big winter ripping around in the snow.
Just replaced 4 accord tires last weekend 4/2023 and its $950 Costco with discount, bridgestone turanza.
Can’t comment on the Hankook’s but the Bridgestone Ecopias that came with my CRV (2019 EX AWD) are also terrible.
