I moved to the Vitour P1 last season. They're finally sanctioned this year. But more than that, holy hell do they last forever.

Nothing faster (they're on par with the a052). And yet... They last.

I did five events and 6,500 miles street and there's hardly any wear. As in, there's an etched swordfish logo on the tread block that's not even 1/32 deep and it's still visible!

I ran them in the remnants of Hurricane Helene (NC here) and had no issues even on the highway. Their cheesy named "water laser" technology seems to actually work.

Pros: last forever, good wet performance
Mileage: 10460 km

J'ai jamais essayé Michelin mais j'ai acheté plusieurs fois des Bridgestone et j'ai jamais été déçu, que ce soit en longévité ou en tenue de route.

Pros: longévité, tenue de route

BRIDGESTONE Tires

Big fan of my Bridgestone Turanza AS 6’s.

Never had any rear end slippage in either of my BMWs, even when taking corners a *bit* too hard in rain/sleet

Pros: no rear end slippage
Vehicle: BMW

Worked in a tire shop for 10 years now and hate basically all Bridgestone. You can essentially cut whatever mileage warranty they put on the tire in half. They may ride well but longevity is definitely not something Bridgestone strives for. Michelin on the other hand will usually last the full warranty and if properly taken care of last well beyond that. I've had a lot of good feedback on the cc2 and went to a class based around them and all terrain tires. They performed phenomenal on the wet track we did.

Pros: performed phenomenal on wet
Cons: longevity is not great

When I ran P1s in the 70s and lower they needed part of an autoX lap to come in. Also, P1s come in 345s so when they did come in they were better than 315 Yokes. Head to head in the same size I'd go with the tire that works better cool/cold. But the P1s are impressive mid to end of the lap and seemed to allow higher cornering speeds in my non scientific testing.

Pros: higher cornering speeds
Cons: need time to come in

Bridgestone Alenza Ultra’s for me. Michelin defenders wear out too fast for some reason and I don’t have a heavy foot. While the Crossclimate tires are awesome, they impact MPG too much.

Pros: awesome tires
Cons: impact MPG too much

These tires are awful on my car. They're not performance tires by an means. They're meant to be driven and babied like a granny. In snow, you'd have to drive 30 km/hr or else it'll start sliding. In rain, it'll hydroplane after 90 km/hr. And in dry condition, it's adequate but loud on highways.

Pros: adequate in dry condition
Cons: awful, loud, hydroplane
