I've been running Blizzaks (WS80, then WS90) on the stock wheels on my '18 Sportwagen since new and have loved them.
I bought the Weatherpeak 2 years ago. They were great tires in messy weather. No complaints at all there. But they wore down very quickly. Like in 25-40k.
Bought Weatherpeaks instead of CC2 for our Crosstrek, no difference in MPG. They're quieter than the stock Falkens.
Snow traction isn't as good as dedicated winter tires but it's good enough for the winters around here.
If you need dedicated winter tires, best option is to buy a second set of rims and winter specific tires, Blizzaks are a personal fav of mine.
Great track tire. I have about 6 hours of track time on mine and have maybe one event left in them.
I have 4 track days on my RE71RS on my NB miata and still have a day or two of life left. Roughly ~10 hours
of driving the piss out of those tires.
Bridgestone blizzat tires are amazing I live in Southern Michigan not that much snow but it gets icy they are great
16k miles and I’m down to 6/32 secs with my Weatherpeaks.
Bridgestone Runs flats on my x7 last about 16k miles.
Honestly I think it's bad business for Bridgestone to ship such crap tires on this vehicle, since it's turned me off from buying any Bridgestone tire in the future.
